Our 5th General Assembly was held on September 23rd and included our Steering Committee Elections for a representative for the Government Constituency, the Business Constituency and for the Individual Seat of the Science and Civil Society Constituency.
We are absolutely delighted to welcome Thailand’s National Science and Technology Development Agency (NTSDA) as a representative for the Government Constituency and Nasser Ayoub of Egypt as the Individual representative of the Science and Civil Society Constituency. We are also ecstatic to re-welcome Hub EPD LATAM and congratulate them on their re-election as a representative for the Business Constituency.
And of course, unfortunately this means we must bid farewell to two of our departing representatives. We would like to express our gratitude to both IBICT of Latin America and Caribbean and Bárbara M. Civit. Thank you for your contribution to the Life Cycle Initiative. You will be greatly missed, though we will surely continue collaborating in new ways!
If any members missed out this year or could not step forward due to geographical restrictions, be sure to keep an eye out for next year’s General Assembly and set a reminder in your calendar – the Steering Committee elections are held in September every year!
