Call for feedback on the LCM CMM Workbook

The UNEP / SETAC Life Cycle Initiative recently supported a LCM-CMM pilot projects to apply a Life Cycle Management Capability Maturity Model (LCM CMM) intended to help build capacity for more comprehensive life cycle methods in small to medium sized enterprises at lower tiers of global supply chains. A draft workbook was developed based on the experiences of the pilot projects to give a broad overview of the approach that is accessible to companies with limited understanding of or experience with life cycle management.

The objective of the LCM CMM is to complement top-down initiatives for sustainable value chains with a bottom-up approach that helps companies develop more rigorous methods based on life cycle thinking that provide both improved environmental performance and competitive advantage.

The Initiative is seeking feedback on the workbook to assess how well these objectives have been achieved. Please provide your comments and suggestions using the provided feedback template. The feedback period will be open until 15 June 2015. Results of the feedback will be summarized and presented at LCM 2015 in Bordeaux, FR.
