I International Seminar of Life Cycle in Ecuador “Life cycle approach for sustainability assessment: identifying priority policies and methodological frameworks of implementation • Ibarra, Ecuador • 31 March – 2 April 2014
The first workshop of the new Ecuadorian Life Cycle Network (for a note on the creation of the Ecuadorian Life Cycle Network, see below) will be held at the Factory Imbabura (Ibarra, Ecuador) from 31 March to 2 April and will be hosted by the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy and the National Institute of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Additional support is provided by Life Cycle Initiative (LCI) -promoted by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC)-, and the Iberoamerican Network of Life Cycle (RICV).
The I International Seminar of Life Cycle in Ecuador “Life cycle approach for sustainability assessment: identifying priority policies and methodological frameworks of implementation” will be developed in the framework of the workshop, involving the participation of a total of eight ministries, academia, research institutions, co-operative agencies and the private sector.
