Carbon Footprinting Workshops • Ankara & Istanbul, Turkey • 7-8 & 11-12 November 2013

Two carbon footprint training workshops were held in Turkey in November.

In Ankara, 30 participants attended in the sessions held primarily in Turkish. In Istanbul, 32 participants attended the presentations in English. Feedback was obtained from both groups to assist with improving the training materials.

Mr Abdelaziz BELHOUJI of the FONDATION MOHAMMED VI POUR LA PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT provided a comprehensive overview of the carbon footprint programme currently operating in Morocco, which is supported by the French Government (ADEME) (link below).

UNEP and the Life Cycle Initiative offer their thanks to the Chambers of Industry in Ankara and Istanbul for hosting the meetings.
