The Life Cycle Initiative is participating as co-organiser, presenter and sponsor of events being held in conjunction with the 6th International Conference on Life Cycle Management – LCM 2013 (25-28 August). More details and links to further information follow below:

  1. Presenter on “Databases and Capacity Building“, Tuesday, 27 August, 10:30 am
  2. Co-organiser and Facilitator of two additional workshops –
    1. Stakeholder Workshop on Guidance on Environmental Indicators” on Sunday, 25 August 2013, 3:30 – 6:00 pm. This workshop is part of the flagship project on consensus LCIA indicators of the third phase of the UNEP SETAC Life Cycle Initiative. In late 2012 the UNEP SETAC Life Cycle Initiative launched the flagship project “Global guidance on environmental life cycle impact assessment indicators”. The main objective of the project is to harmonize selected impact category indicators globally. The objective of the workshop is to discuss a preliminary working list of impact categories and themes (such as normalization and weighting) established during a first workshop in May 2013, in Glasgow, UK. To facilitate this identification and evaluation process, the preliminary evaluation will be presented at the workshop. The workshop is targeted to stakeholder needs and expectations.
